Health Tip:
Make your own old-time rose water, simply gather your rose petals early in the morning, place them in an enamel pot, use just enough water to cover and slowly bring the mixture to a boil.  Simmer several minutes and then strain with a clean cloth or non metal strainer.  Rose water makes an excellent hair rinse or skin rinse, especially on oily hair or skin.  Rose water is often used to flavor food in many countries.  In India it is used to flavor sherbet, ice cream and cakes.

No fresh roses you can subtitute fresh or dried lemons. Prepare as you would the rose water.  Try not to use faucet water unless it's chloride free.  Distilled is best.
